The staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. The late check out is a bonus and was available past the 1800 posted time. They give the guest a mobile phone on arrival so you can summon the boat to the hotel. This hotel has character and history.
The only drawback is the need to catch a boat to the hotel as there is no road or pedestrian access, the public entrance to the pier closes at 1900 but it is then accessed through a hotel restaurant. This can also been seen as a novelty but would not been good for people who are nervous or aged as the boarding process is a step and not a gang plank
Lovely position with a quaint transfer from across the river by boat. Will stay there again
Very attractive historical building. Location on river very good. Service across river - good.
Food and beverage prices high. Limited facilities re information about Bangkok, tours, etc.
Lovely property on the river, a quiet place after the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Food was great.
The small size, unique "old" style, quiet. The staff were very attentive and polite.
Distance from main cbd, Lack of a lounge to sit and read and maybe use of a computer.
-Amazing place, amazing service staff, nice rooms, perfect location, very nice food which is value for money
I have liked everything in this hotel and definetly will come back
As someone who has stayed at many fine hotels around the world, I cannot speak highly enough about the Praya Palazzo. The welcome and service from the staff is genuine and a pleasure. The hotel is more like your villa in Bangkok, an oasis in a busy city. The design and quality of the renovation of this palladian villa are perfect. I have already recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues.
Nothing - they continue to surprise and delight with their service.
Beautiful hotel , with lovely rooms and grounds. Service and food was excellent. Perfect romantic getaway.
The access only via the private barge although manageable and novel does not allow complete freedom of movement. Last crossing requested to be by 12:00 am
The location is real great. Just 2 minues using the privat hotel boat - and you reach the citycenter (old one). The autmospher and design of the place is great. Very nice for romantic weekend.
It's hard to identify the boat at first time - only small flag at the backend of the boat! Impossible to go anythere without the boat. Hot water just pretended to be warm... But it's hot everytime around and this fast isn't a serious problem. Some parts of walls are wet. But it's also can be used like a part of romantic design). Hostes didn't add shampoo at the second day staytment. Slippers in the room was dirty - like a many time used. Breakfast was not for a 5 stars hotel or butque hotel level (f.i. - pakced juce, fried beckon etc), but pretty well at all. Resume: the Booked.net price was reasonable for staying.
The staff were excellent and the location was very scenic
Can be slight inconvenience to call and wait for hotel boat when wanted to return to boat but not a big issue
Lovely small boutique hotel tucked away from the bustle of Bangkok. Excellent service and facility.
Difficulty of reaching hotel after midnight; inability to reach hotel readily by car/taxi.
The design of the hotel like we are dated back to King Rama vi era.
